Being engrossed in the structure of the "Hebel" material the clear dramaturgy and unconventional turns of the quartet`s music strike. May there be chord progressions, impressionistic melody framework or pulsating grooves, playing solo, intimately or as collective: the range of improvisation played seems to be inexhaustible and creating in any case a high interactive quality. The core of the musical expression is and always will be in the quality of improvisation.
